Winter Long Lunch in the Paddock

Join us for a slow winter gathering on our farm just outside Tenterfield as we come together around a long table in the paddock to celebrate the flavours of the season.

The afternoon begins with a gentle walk around the farm where we’ll visit the vegetable garden, meet the chickens and see the cattle grazing the paddocks while we share a little about the regenerative journey of the land. Afterwards we’ll settle in at a long table set beneath the open sky for a relaxed seasonal lunch inspired by what is growing in the garden and the surrounding region.

Expect generous, rustic dishes, good conversation and time to linger over the table as the afternoon unfolds. I’ll be baking homemade focaccia and serving preserves from the garden alongside seasonal dishes inspired by whatever produce is ready that day. Wherever possible, I’ll be bringing as much as I can from paddock to plate to share with our guests.

Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm

Location: Our farm (15 minute drive from Tenterfield)

Cost: Adult $145 / Children under 12 years $50.00

What’s Included: Lunch will be served family-style and will feature a seasonal menu inspired by the garden and the surrounding region. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the afternoon and homemade desserts.

Bookings: Bookings are essential and full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Numbers are limited to keep the gathering relaxed and intimate.

Dietary Requirements: If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.

What to Wear: As this is a working farm, we recommend wearing enclosed shoes and bringing warm clothing suitable for the weather.

Children: Children are welcome but must be closely supervised by parents or guardians at all times. Please note this is a working farm with dams that are not fenced, cattle in the paddocks and an outdoor fire pit.

Pets: Unfortunately pets cannot be brought onto the property due to the presence of farm animals.

Weather: This event takes place outdoors and is subject to weather conditions. In the event of unfavourable weather the gathering will be cancelled and guests will receive a full refund.

Cancellations: Guests may cancel their booking up to 72 hours prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event unfortunately cannot be refunded due to preparation and catering commitments.

Directions: Directions to the farm and arrival details will be sent to guests upon booking confirmation.
