Step out of town and into the paddocks for a slow autumn morning at our 50-acre farm, A Plot in Common. Benji and I will welcome guests for a gentle wander through the vegetable garden and farm before settling at a long table in the grass for a seasonal paddock high tea. Held during the Tenterfield Autumn Festival, this small gathering celebrates autumn, good food and the simple rhythms of life on the land.

Location: A Plot in Common, 15 minutes outside Tenterfield
Cost: $85 per person | Children under 12: $45
Bookings are essential and full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Numbers are limited to keep the gathering relaxed and intimate.
When you arrive you’ll be welcomed with tea and something sweet before a gentle walk around the farm, visiting the vegetable garden, chickens and paddocks. We’ll then gather at a long table set in the paddock for a seasonal high tea inspired by the garden and the surrounding region.
As this is a working farm, we recommend wearing enclosed shoes and warm clothing suitable for the weather. Children are welcome but must be closely supervised by parents or guardians at all times, and unfortunately pets cannot be brought onto the property due to farm animals.
If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.
This event takes place outdoors and is subject to weather conditions. In the event of unfavourable weather, the gathering will be cancelled and guests will receive a full refund.
Guests may cancel their booking up to 72 hours prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event unfortunately cannot be refunded due to preparation and catering commitments.
Directions to the farm and arrival details will be sent to guests upon booking confirmation.
